New Review! It Started With A Kiss by Melanie Moreland, 4 Cranky Stars

It Started with a KissIt Started with a Kiss by Melanie Moreland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

It started with a kiss and a dare. This book was truly sweet and had lots of cute moments.

Avery is a shy bookish girl. Waves of curly white blonde hair and startling eyes she was told by a few people her looks were off putting and distracting and not in a good way. She carries these thoughts into her adult life. Her last relationship was a complete failure. She's content to just get through her life working and hanging out with her best friend Beth. Beth works for a film company who is doing an study on strangers kissing. One of the subjects falls through and she suckers Avery into standing into that persons place. This is where Avery meets Daniel.

Daniel is a Veterinarian. He's always been an animal lover and runs a successful practice with his brother in law and sister. He's happy in his life and wishes he had more. Someone to share his life with. His last relationship fizzled out and they parted on good terms. Daniel and his sister are always making wagers against each other. Since Daniel lost the most recent one he had to volunteer to be on the strangers in the kissing experiment. Here he meets Avery and boy do sparks fly.

This book was nice. It was almost too syrupy sweet for me but that's just my preference in books It's obvious this author enjoys a good love story. It had all the elements needed but at the end it seemed she tossed in some drama last minute but I'm glad things worked out for Avery and Daniel. I would suggest this book to someone who loves a good love story and characters with real life issues.
