New Review! Echo Campaign by Brooke Taylor, 4 Cranky Stars

ECHO Campaign (Isolation, #2)ECHO Campaign by Taylor Brooke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

After being taken by Jeaneau, Brooklyn awakens in the uber clinical Isolation facility. The group of young people are subjected to a series of cruel mental and physical tests and training. They find that someone who is supposed to be dead is "repaired and alive.

Brooklyn refuses to accept that they "belong" to Jeaneau and kicks against the traces all the way and does not want to accept that they are being trained to be little more than weapons to be hired out to the highest bidder as assassins. Escape is in their minds all the time and help comes unexpectedly from an unexpected source. All, however, is not rosy, one of their number is a clone, one abandons their cause and the group becomes divided in their cause and they have to deal with the added danger of Asset 0.

The book followed seamlessly onto book 1 and was again an exciting and satisfying read and as with its predecessor deserves 4 stars.
