Mia Kayla left me hanging by a thread off a cliff. Her writing style sucked me in and left me wanting more.



Samantha is torn. She finally got the chance to meet her uber famous crush rock star and she's falling hard. As much as she tries to fight it her heart continues to win. Her heart only wants Hawke Calvin of Def Deception. Her mind knows it's not healthy and that he's no good for her but her heart never got that memo.



What is simple Sous Pastry Chef Sam supposed to do with the rock God of all rock God's?



Hawke Calvin is never left wanting for girls' attention. They're everywhere and all he has to do is snap his fingers or look their way and panties drop.



Groupies vying for a rock gods attention or their 5 minutes of fame are a dime a dozen. Life is good until he meets the one girl who doesn't throw herself at him. The one woman who he wants more from. His Sunshine.



This book is a love story on a triple loop Rollercoaster. Torn between two has you wishing and hoping for the underdog. To see Samantha's heart catch up with her brain. To see friendships become more. To find a release from the pain.



I'm waiting impatiently for the next book as the cliffhanger is severe. I'm left feeling lost and alone wondering what's going to happen.



Kudos to Mia Kayla on a wonderful story and incredible characters. There were only a couple of slow spots and one reaction from Samantha that seemed out of character which was why I gave this 4 stars. Despite that I still highly recommend this book an author to anyone who loves likeable quirky characters and a storyline that keeps you enthralled.
