The uprising against the oppression of the council has begun. It has come to Christof's attention that besides being the last healer and the pivot of their prophesy, Elyse and William are the new Mother and Father to the the next generation's Oracle............and he wants the baby.



Elyse and William have been spirited away by the resistance to a remote area shielded by his Uncle Mac, who is also in charge of training both in their abilities and weapons. They are forced to flee their safe haven and find a new one. Here, they are joined by increasing numbers of descendants who join the resistance and go into training for a civil war between descendants, those who want to integrate with humans and those who don't.



Christof comes at them with every dirty trick in the book.



The pace intensifies considerably in this book and I give it 4.5 stars
